Biography
I'm Alex Buchanan, a photojournalist and visual storyteller with a background in both still photography and post-production editing. After a decade of service in the U.S. Air Force, I transitioned into visual media, bringing a strong sense of discipline, attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for the power of imagery.
Currently living in Columbia, Missouri, I contribute to the Columbia Missourian and focus on capturing stories that matter. I’m FAA Part 107 certified and experienced in aerial photography, adding a dynamic perspective to my projects when the story calls for it.
